My Pinterest board is a little out of control. It is full of hundreds of pins that I use for inspiration. I have completed a few do it yourself projects, used some home decor ideas, and tested some recipes, but it is rare that I actually complete a project from my boards that I pin to use in my work. I finally said to myself, I am doing this! I am going to find something on Pinterest and actually incorporate it into some photos instead of pinning an image and letting it collect virtual dust.
In my search, I found this beautiful image of a simple hair wreath.
I had twine available that I use for packaging and plenty of wild flowers growing in the field behind my house. I braided the twine and used scrapbooking glue dots to secure the flowers. Here is an Instagram image of what I made…
Here are beautiful images of sweet, Lexi, modeling the hair wreath.
Lesson learned…make the head wreath as close to the session as possible. The flowers had wilted by the time the session rolled around, but I still love the end result.
Even though I started out pretty small, I am so proud of myself that I actually completed a pinterest goal! Now I am antsy to start working on more. Maybe this can inspire you to get started on your next Pinterest project! xo
